Livelihoods are acquiring necessities of life, in this section of the chapter it discusses the livelihoods of rural people. In recent years the migration from rural areas to urban areas in order for economic opportunities. The dependency of agriculture is essential for rural population. This reliance on agriculture can have negative affects on opportunities, drought/water shortages, and land can have drastic effects on mobility. In livelihoods of rural agricultural population rely heavily on the cultivation of crops. In the case of upward mobility it is very complex employment the family lifestyle are all variables that need to be taken into consideration.
