What is something important or new that you learned about population growth?

I learned that the 1970s was an era of rapid population growth globally. I learned that World cities consume more than two thirds of the global energy and produce more than 70 percent of carbon dioxide emissions.

[endif]What is something important or new that you learned about poverty?

I learned about the flow of money from migrant workers to family back home in developed countries is 2.5 times the amount of official aid finances.

What is something important or new that you learned about inequality?

[endif]I learned that if everyone consumed as much as the average UK citizen, we would need more than three earths to support us. This focuses on inequalities by highlighting the consumption and usage patterns of certain developed nations citizens compared to developing nations citizens. [endif]I learned that there are an estimated 100 million missing women, women that would be alive if it were not for practices of neglect sex and sex selective abortion, these both are gender inequalities.
